Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the effect of "individual characteristics, job characteristics, organizational characteristics on organizational commitment" and the effect of organizational commitment on organizational performance in the Civil Service Police Unit of Surabaya City. The population used in this study were workers in the Civil Service Police Unit of Surabaya City. The number of samples in this study were 86 officers of the Civil Service Police Unit of Surabaya City. "Using Structural Equation Modeling Analysis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS)". The results showed that "individual characteristics, job characteristics, organizational characteristics" had a significant positive effect on "organizational commitment". “Organizational commitment” has a significant positive effect on “organizational performance” in the Surabaya City Civil Service Police Unit.
